Hi!
I just solved a long standing issue with GRASS 6.4.3 on my pc, under
SuSE 12.3 linux. I use the GEO repository for all GIS packages.
Since long I have not been able to install plugins/add-ons in GRASS,
either through the commandline or the menu (wxpython gui).
Yesterday I discovered why! In

Hi!
I'm having trouble installing addons (that recide in svn and need
compiling) on GRASS 6.4.2 on my SuSE 12.1 installation.
I first tried through g.extension; that failed; se belowe!
Then I checked out the code from the svn server; and tried to compile.
Failure!
It complains that the file
ry; and it then
imported all the files, giving them a "prefix" of x2; or some such.
I shall try Markus suggestions next!

But no, I was not able to make your suggestion work;
er now). If not, you can write a for loop in the
command line to import all files.
In Linux shell it's something like
For i in *.arc
Do r.in.arc $i

Hi!
I want to import a set (20) of ESRI ASCII raster files in a catalog, and
merge them to a single GRASS raster dataset.
How do I do that? (Yes I can import each file, and then merge (r.patch),
but..)

Hi!
I wonder if anyone could explain to me how to create a new map (raster) from
two pre-existing maps, in mapcalc. Because I have problems with understanding
how to do this in r.mapcalc
I have two raster datasets that I would like to combine like so; if the cell
is in map a, assign the value 7
Hi all!
Seeing all the traffic on the list about the new wxpython GUI I wanted to try
too. No such luck however.
I'm using Suse 10.3 on a Intel based pc.
Usually I have compiled GRASS63 from source. This evening I did likewise, and
activated python etc to see if the new GUI could start. See con
Sorry!
Solved it. Installed a Kernel updata- installed NVIDIA drivers again
(manually!). Konfigured X. Now it worked!
