Hi,
starting from a 2d vector and using the v.extrude command i got a 3d vector,
with the following settings:
zshift=0, hcolumn=a_level (the column where the topographic heights are
written), type=line
the output 3d vector is regularly created and checking it with v.info i get at
the very f
Hi Rich,
i used the other commands, such as g.region and v.overlay.
Anyway thanks for your advice, I "played" a bit with v.select, to get the
difference :)
>>Matteo,
Take a look at v.extract and see if that meets your needs.

Hi,
I have got a vector file of a big region.
I would like to export a small part of this vector file to an esri-type vector
file.
How can I do it?
Thanks!

Hi everybody,
I'm using an SRTM .tif file and a vector file (from vmap0 dataset) to clearly
define a region.
On the srtm i filled the voids with r.fillnulls, but on the coast the data are
no clear and coastlines are not real at all. The sea depth as well is
completely "crazy", and I really don
I used the r.in.gdal to import the raster map, and then i pressed the button
add raster layer, to add the raster file. But anything happened..the output
says that everything matches but is not possible to add any raster file and
even to display it.
