I have a 2D vector map which is actually a single line (it shows a coastline).
I try to give to this fixed height and make it a 3D map (the line to become a
wall).
I try v.extrude --overwrite input=COASTLINE@final output=coast_3d@final
height=10 type=line but nothing changing at all (then I e
Hi,
is there any option so I can convert many files or a folder (for example, 500
images from .asc to .tif) together at once, so that they will have matching
color analysis? I use to do this untill now with Globalmapper, the "batch
convert/reproject" option and I would like to do it through Gr
I have a shapefile with lines only. Is it possible to add some area to these
lines? Like fatening the lines. The lines are the walls of a castle but I can't
use their exports ("file without geometry" gives as an error some 3d programs),
so I want to add some width to these lines. Maybe adding p

Hi guys,
i have an error that i can't understand why it happens. I import a raster image
at a location that i have set its region from the same raster. Then when i try
to see this at the map display panel by zooming at it, it gives an error:

Hi,
is it possible to crop a shapefile at some coordinates inside grass? I have a
bigger area than what i want and i must limit the boundaries of this in some
coordinates. If it isn't possible, any other program (open source of course) to
do this job and then import the limited file in grass?
/mapset with
the vector layer, use or r.proj (menu: raster - develop raster map - reproject
raster map) to reproject and copy the raster layer to your current
location/mapset.
Cheers,

Hi to all,
i try to export, together in one file, 2 or 3 raster maps displayed
simultaneously in Grass, so they will remain referenced together and furtherly
used seperately or together. Does anybody has any idea if this can happen and
how (also to which format)? In ArcGis it can be done in vr
#x27; then open 'vtk' format in Paraview.

Hi,
i have one raster and one vector file and i want to match them at the diplay

right coordinate reference system can do the job. How can i do this at Grass?
