[GRASS-user] Orthophotos in .sid - removing black border

I have orthophotos that are in .sid format. I have converted them to tif/tfw with the lizardtech software, but they have black borders. I would like to remove these borders so that I can use the orthophotos in a tiled mosaic of the whole area of interest. Any thoughts suggestions, or help would

So, I found the odd crs that the orthophotos were in used gdalwarp to reproject the tiffs then wrote a script to bring all of the orthophotos in and reclassed 0 as NULL, and poof the black border disappeared. Now I need to combine the red, blue, and green images into one single orthophoto for disp
