All, I created a mapset over a year ago in utm 17 grs80 and found out yesterday that I did not input the nad83 datum. I have been working in this location and have done a great deal of work pulling data in and processing lidar etc. GRASS has been pulling things in with the caveat that the locations seem to match (and I think assuming the datum was wgs). I have been using nad83 etc. for all of the data that I have been bringing in religiously. Can I now set the datum with r.proj to nad83 without significant data corruption?
