Dears, After some tests, I managed to convert the lines to a raster. I had to create a new polygon layer from the original raster and convert this polygon to lines IN ARCGIS, then import the new shapefile. This tells me that:
There is something wrong with r.to.vect, as it appears to me that there was no database connection (even after running db.connect). This error propagated to v.types.
