Syslog from my switches... it has to have rdns otherwise how does it
integrate with libre as libre is only hostnames

Running on centos-6.7
Need to mention that the new init script is diffrent, from the previous
version,
replacing it gave no errors.

My bad!! The issue was with my
path-glob-root = "/var/log/SOME"
path-glob-pattern = "*.{access,error}.log"
I got that in collector.logs. It was not able to find the files with these
globs for some reason.
However I am still not getting anything on the stdout.

I was able to import a sampling of the logs, using a syslog and/or RAW
UDP inputs and netcat, however I'm not happy with the results because
graylog did not preserve the data/time/host and instead set the
data/time it received those entries and the host where the import was
performed from

in the web interface on the System -> Inputs page).
Are there any messages added to the monitored files

graylog-server: X.X.X.X.X
graylog-data-collector: Y.Y.Y.Y
was able to push message to the server and is listing on graylog server
using:
