I uninstalled and reinstalled sidecar and left the portnumber at 12900. For some reason I wanted it to be the same port number as gelf input of 12201. I wanted a fresh config and everything else, and it appears to be all working properly now. Thanks so much for the help everyone. It's most

Hi, you should not copy nxlog.conf files around. The sidecar is fully generating a configuration for nxlog and don't need any manual editing (thats the one in C:\Program Files (x86)\graylog\collector-sidecar\generated) every other config file is not used. >From the screenshot you can see that the r

Have you copied the nxlog.conf file from say C:\Program Files (x86)\nxlog\conf\ to C:\Program Files (x86)\graylog\collector-sidecar\generated\ ? I recall needing to do that. Check the location collector-sidecar is looking for nxlog.conf in in the collector_sidecar.yml file, backends section.
