Yeah that doesn't work, you can't run the OVA from within a VM. You need a hardware host with a CPU that has the VT-X/SVM (Intel/AMD) option. Vagrant is also using VirtualBox in the background. I think the best option then is to spin up a VM on Amazon and use the AMI https://github.com/Graylog2/gra

Can't do it on a server VM. :( Running VM inside a VM might not be the best idea, but I'm really out of options to run Graylog in my situation. * Natively on Windows: not officially supported * Inside VirtualBox: doesn't work and the BIOS option is not available * Docker Toolbox: ditto (uses V

Hi Dmitry, as I said you have to enable hardware virtualization support in the BIOS of your host. Cheers, Marius On 29 July 2016 at 16:17, Dmitriy Korobskiy wrote: > I have exactly the same symptoms with the latest Graylog 2.0.3 VM on a > Windows Server 2012 R2 VM. > > * VirtualBox gives "VT-x

I have exactly the same symptoms with the latest Graylog 2.0.3 VM on a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM. * VirtualBox gives "VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX)." with the default 4 GB Graylog VM RAM * When RAM decreased to 2 GB, VirtualBox VM hangs immediately * When RAM decreased to 3 GB, Ubuntu

Hi Nikhil, looks like you didn't enable hardware virtualization in the bios of your server? Also make sure that the host is a 64bit system. Cheers, Marius On 29 April 2016 at 18:59, nikhil shetty wrote: > I tried that as well , if I provide more than 3000 mb i get below error > during startup
