I know that if you call the gretlcli with gretlcli -r filename.inp
then gretl opens and run this file and then passes control to the user, but I see that if I try to do the same thing with the GUI client: gretl_x11 -r filename.inp the file is opened in the script editor, but not executed (you have to click over the execute icon).
