Dear all
Does anyone successfully install (or compile) gretl 1.8.6 on ubuntu
8.04? I had a hard time to do that. If somebody does, would you please
instruct me how to do that?

Hi,
You should try to configure first without building the documentation,
and afterwards troubleshoot the documentation build.

Ah, --enable-build-doc only works if you are building from the CVS
sources. That should be

ubuntu 8.04.
