[Gretl-users] Re: SVAR Restriction

2023-12-28 Thread Olasehinde Timmy
OK sir. Thanks for the response. Nevertheless, I would suggest that the
SVAR/SVEC GUI is updated to include the space for names of shocks just like
the space provided for indexing the irf to cumulate.

John

[Gretl-users] The spam flood (an apology).

2023-12-28 Thread Riccardo (Jack) Lucchetti

You may have noticed a hefty influx of spam on this list a few hours
ago. This is entirely my fault, sorry about it.

Here's what happened: in order to protect this list (and the other one
we have, gretl-devel) from spam, messages coming from non-subscribers
have to be approved by hand by an admin (usually, me). We adopted this
policy because you get bthe odd chance that someone is genuinely trying
to ask a gretl question from a non-subscriber address, but 99% of these
messages are spam. So I log in from time to time to check and delete the
unwanted stuff. It so happened this morning that I clicked on the wrong
button, and instead of zapping the junk, I mistakently let it through.

Sorry, again!
