We built a kernel with that patch applied and asked indira to restart the tests. Developer provided the fix for above issue . Applied it and restarted Leaf IO and SMT tests which has both SMT fix and Memory barrier fix. root@cap:~# uname -r 4.4.0-38.58+ibm-smt1-generic Run went fine for more than 60+ hours without any system hang.
