I had a lot of troubles too.
Some of them I solved just by trying (a lot), other I ask for help for
some researchers (experts) who already installed.
So, I have some tricks and details that is necessary and is not
mentioned in doc.

Hi,
In the Globus Toolkit 5.2.2 there is no setup-simple-ca script in the
$HOME/setup/globus or in other place, like the documentation says.
And I need it installed, because the SimpleCA that configures the
$HOME/.globus/simpleCA to sign my certificates.
What should I do?

In ' Appendix C. Installing SimpleCA' :
A generic *globus* account, which will be used to perform administrative
tasks. This user will also be in charge of managing the SimpleCA. To do
this, make sure this account has read and write permissions in the $
GLOBUS_LOCATION directory.
