I've got a ticket for this here: http://github.com/simonbaird/mGSD/issues#issue/25 It's a bug I've not been able to figure out yet. The workaround is to save and reload. On Tue, Jul 13, 2010 at 6:39 PM, Seba wrote: > Sorry, the specs: > same as yours apart from the OS: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - Lucid

Find the tiddler that is the realm and rename that. Then say yes to rename the tag in N tiddler. Save and reload. (One way to find the tiddler is this: click 'Action' or 'Project' in the top right of any action or project. Then click GTDComponent. Then click Realm). On Fri, Jul 23, 2010 at 5:46 A

I'm not sure why this is happening. It might be you have a tickler that has no realm that is triggering it. If you click on Tickler in the top right of any Tickler, you might be able to find it. On Mon, Jul 26, 2010 at 1:21 PM, Shiyin wrote: > I'm a new user of mGSD, and am very pleased with it

I think there are such things for TiddlyWiki which you could use. Perhaps ask on the TiddlyWiki list. On Fri, Aug 6, 2010 at 11:06 AM, Jim Maxwell wrote: > Anyone who knows JavaScript (JS), please let me know what you think of > this idea. > > I myself don't yet know JS (just beginning to inter

Tiddlyspot.com uses UploadPlugin which requires a small php script. If you can install that on your hosting provided then you can upload. Info here: http://tiddlywiki.bidix.info/ Or you can use tiddlyspot itself if you can do without proper security. But the Dropbox solution is probably the best

Not sure what you mean by 'the slider'. Which slider? On Fri, Aug 6, 2010 at 11:31 AM, kenorasis wrote: > When a click on the "+" buttons in a project tiddler (Create a new...) > I sometimes get a popup prompt asking for the name of the new action > -- but sometimes "+" just invokes the slider.

I had a quick try at making an MPTW on Tiddlyspace. It sort of worked. TiddlySpace seems to apply some css and layout which led me to believe it would not be easy to roll up a MonkeyGTD. http://mptwempty.tiddlyspace.com/ On Thu, Aug 5, 2010 at 6:27 AM, Eric Drechsel wrote: > bump! > > BTW, mGSD

Not sure but sometimes errors like this are caused by an action or a project has a single or double quote or a square bracket character in it's name. On Wed, Aug 4, 2010 at 1:06 AM, d...@emu wrote: > The mGSD "Next and Waiting Actions by Context Single Col" view shows > an "Error in macro <>" at

Re: help with changing "make tickler" to "new tickler"

2010-09-15 Thread Simon Baird
It is called 'make' tickler because it makes that action into a tickler. So it isn't really a new tickler. Maybe 'convert to tickler' would be clearer. In any case if you want to change it, it's in MgtdTagControls, inside the 'convertToFromTickler' function. On Tue, Aug 17, 2010 at 2:13 PM, TJK

One suggestion that's useful if you are logging work on a project is to make a reference item called log (or whatever). Then create journal entries under that reference item by clicking new journal in the reference item. On Sat, Aug 7, 2010 at 3:11 AM, Sebastian E. Ovide < sebastian.ov...@gmail.co

I tried this recently too. Basically just make a new space, de-include the "system-theme" space, and import your custom TiddlyWiki (mGSD in this case). I made a public, empty mGSD [1], intending to use it as an include to keep my ToDos separate from the app code, but that doesn't work yet. See this
