Hi David, I have been neglecting tbGTD upgradability for a while now and I guess it's about time I put a little effort into it... I mean, besides the bug, it doesn't even run on TagSearch and that has been out for quite a while now. I am quite busy at the moment, so it might take a while. If there's anyone who already has a fix for your particular issue... other than removing it from the template, please let me know.
