Are you still having problems? I have tested just now and was able to
import. Do you have any firefox plugins that might be interfering? Some
versions of FireBug are known to be problematic.

no tiddlers are ever returned, whether I hand type the url or use the
drop-down selection. I've done it many times previously as a long-
time user, but have been stuck here for a long time (but fully
functional none-the-less).
One thing that's not clear about this, you need to put a check by the
tiddlers that you want to import. I use import all the time and just click
the box in the heading to import all my tiddlers as kind of a one-way
(destructive) sync.
