I've just created a stable gtk-2-16 branch.
Future 2.16.x releases will be made off that branch, while development
towards 2.18 proceeds on master.

Thanks, http://l10n.gnome.org/module/gtk%2B/ updated.
Christian
I have just created a stable branch glib-2-22 for GLib.
Development on master will proceed towards 2.24, plans for that release include
- outstanding parts of the gobject-performance branch
- class private data
- TLS (SSL) and proxy support for GSocket
Some things need further discussion:
- GMarkup
We have created stable branches now for GLib and GTK+
GLib 2.8 maintenance branch: glib-2-8
GTK+ 2.8 maintenance branch: gtk-2-8
Regards, Matthias

http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gtk+/branches/gtk-2-12/
so the plan is to release GLib-

That's cool. So I'd like to merge my extended layout work[1] now -
unless someone says "STOP, want to review first".
Ciao,
Mathias
