i was trying to force it to the current X setting, 1024x768

but the callback is NOT invoked when the key is changed, unless I use

is there a way to use g_main_loop_run with gconf_client_notify_add

Sorry i'm relatively new to linux. How do i uninstall glib-2.2.1?
I have RedHat 9 and i think it comes with glib-1.2 or something (that's what
rpm says).
So i don't know where glib-2.2.1 came from.
Even if i installed it using make install, I don't know how to remove
something that has been
Ok, this is what i've gathered:
glib-2.2.1 is included with RedHat 9
It can't be uninstalled because it fails the dependencies check
How do i overwrite it with a glib compiled from source?
Don't worry, i've solved the problem. Just wait for the RPM to come out.

Right. RedHat 9 comes with both 1.2.10 and 2.2.1. Glib 2 is quite an
overhaul from GLib 1, so you need both

Hi ! i create an gtk interface with glade for framebuffer but i have
several problems !!!
- under glade, i add an image but under framebuffer the application
don't show the image ! An example of the code source to display an image...
image12 = create_pixmap (window1, GNOME-Hint_alt.png);
Error messages and warnings go to stderr but you are only catching
stdout. Try './test errors.log 21'.

Ok, i find informations about images problems...
Yes, this is a known bug. Glade generated code seems to look for
pixmaps in the default gnome directory (/usr/share/pixmaps/david). This
should be solved by putting there the pixmaps, or linking
/usr/share/local/pixmaps/david to
Has anyone got an answer for this one? Im having the same problem with
