How to get Greek input in a Gtk+ 2.2 program?

Hi I have been using a program called xgrk to switch to Greek keyboard in order to write Greek text. However now with Gtk+ 2.x and UTF8 support and all I wonder how do one switch keyboards now? If I use xgrk now I get latin7 input so there are no Greek letters only junk in the Entry box. However i
