Have you examined all the possible alternatives for the application you
are trying to make? For example, maybe the window manager you are
refering to (FVWM), has already some means of modifying the behaviour of
the right click, or even the option

After some directions from Liam (see yesterdays mailing archive) i
passed my app through valgrind and found out that there are too many
errors happening in the GTK / X level. I suppose that it has something
to do with the way i am using

Multi-threaded applications sometimes get into trouble if more than
one thread is trying to communicate with the X server at the same time.
Sounds reasonable but this is not the case with my application...There
is only one thread
