I am trying to install GTK-2.0.2 and am having problems. I have already
installed Glib-2.0.1, Pango-1.0.1, ATK-1.0.1, and GTK-2.0.2 everything
has seemed to configure, make, and install correctly with no errors.
But, my system can't find gtk-config. I have done a search through my
harddisk and gtk
Does anyone know the maintainer or who to contact with a problem with
gtk-engine-0.12, this is a package used in building GNOME.

With starting with GTK-2.0 gtk-config is not used. You should use
pkg-config, run pkg-config --list-all to show all the packages
maintained by pkg-config then just use `pkg-config --cflags
--libs`. On my system, the GTK module is gtk+-x11-2.0, just for a tip on
what to look for.

Is there a GTK+ canvas widget, like the one in the Gnome extension?
