ARGB Visual Support

Does anybody know if official support for ARGB Visuals in X.org is being planned in GTK+? I really want to be able to make a GtkTextView transparent, but the only way to do that right now is to make the whole window transparent. -- http://thisnukes4u.net

Re: Why gtk+ application are so slow

I don't know about others, but when I run gtk+ apps on windows, they usually run at either the same speed or slightly faster than native windows mfc applications. The only time they slow down is during heavy network access for some reason, but otherwise they run quite well for being on windows,
