(I tried searching the GTK FAQ before posting but it's empty. Googling
didn't turn up anything useful either.)
I see a cell-background property in GtkCellRenderer and a background
property in its GtkCellRendererText subclass. What's the distinction?
Thanks,

I have read in changelog new property for gtk_view to draw one row in a
spcial color. I have installed 2.0.3, but I get the message
GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gobject.c:1001:g_object_set_property(): object
class `GtkCellRendererText' has no property named `cell-background'.
What must I
no property named `cell-background'.
I might be wrong, but you probably read the ChangeLog of GTK+ HEAD were
development continues towards GTK+-2.2.
