Hey guys, I recevied my speedbleeders yesterday and changed the
rear fluid last night. Tested the bike, brakes work perfectly. Saw all
the flak from Yamaha last night. Can't believe some guys are still in
business.
The real reason I'm writing is that you should go ahead and change
the front fluid
Shawny, I always test independently my brakes, never had a lock up knock on Fred
Grefe's head! I see Yami's crapola is still alive and well.
As for your smart ass service guy giving you lip, send him my way I'll blast him
with more than an e-mail. The list forced Yamaha into this policy and that'
Even my shop said the labor was covered and that your dealer sounded like he
was "double dipping"

Shawn, I'd be glad to have the service manager at my local dealer call your
local dealer. He KNOWS that the ABS when working correctly works on either
wheel or both because HE tested the bike. Granted I did have the Y.E.S. plan
for mine back in May, but that's not the issue here. Let me know, or j
