Maybe you got a good deal on the BT-57 or somebody try to get to much money
from your for the new 010. From Chapparal, Motorcycle accessorie warehouse and

If you're in the US of A, it shouldn't cost more than $40-45. If you need

I'd say better looking. They're not olive green. I agree with Gil. They
get the pressure off your back/ shoulders. But I don't know that they
effect any vibrations that might pass their way. Not a problem that I have
to deal with, anyway.

Not the same price, 57s are $90 the 010s are $110. 'Till I see definitive
proof that the 010s are better/longer lasting I'll stick with what I know
works.

The stock handle bars off my 94 are NOT solid! They are hollow from the
outside end up to just slightly over 2 1/8" (about 52 mm) from the end that
goes into the crown. Maybe they should be solid to damp some vibration, but
this pair isn't.

Thanks for the info, Andy. I got Jeff's post, but it
was a reminder of another solution waaay back--turn
the snorkels inside the airbox, sleeve them and

inside the box. I'm thinking of ordering a new set of

I saw the description of 010 replacing 57 in the
Chapparal catalog I just received, something scary up
front--all their Arai's are stamped "no longer
available..." They seem to make it sound like no
longer in the US but I don't see how this could be.
Anyone hear anthing??

I just took delivery of a new set last week. I have not installed them yet
but in regard to quality of finish, very nice. It appears to me that once

Nothing personal taken. I don't like spending $365 and standing around. If a
lesson is taught in class, it is nice to have a MAXIMUM amount of track time
to exercise the drill. This means going onto the track immediately after
leaving the classroom, not standing around. Ever taken one of Pridmore'
