For what it is worth... I have 3 GIVI bags which I use on my GTS.
I've had all three bags loaded (both sides with 30 lbs. and a top
bag loaded with approx. 50 lbs) when I have been doing 142 mph..
when I was passing Bob Johnson in Utah..

As a passenger, I think the GTS is great - we have a Corbin seat, a
wingrack, GIVI side bags, and a GIVI top bag with a backrest - I have plenty
of room as a passenger (I've read and studied for tests on the back of the
bike - and we aren't small people). We have plenty of room to carry our
stuff

Actually the GTS was tested in Rider/July 1993 issue.. it tested out at
consistently
under 90', with the best posted stops at: 87' & one at 89'..
