I tested sbcl@2.3.8 on riscv64-linux and the build failed in the contrib

in the upstream release. When I finish my current build target(s) I'll

As far as commit messages, I've found that the script in

rt in rust we'll need to enable more targets, which will increase
the build time for the final rust and the final output size. Considering
that nothing built with rust links to it, I'm not convinced this is a
problem.
We will likely see people confused that we have a rust with
cross-compil

package itself, and made sure it passed `guix lint`. More resources for
qa.guix.gnu.org would let us build more patches more quickly.

IIRC one of the big things I wanted to show was using ctags with Guix to

Do you want to take a stab at it? I'm not sure when I'll get around to
it.

I found that once I rebased on core-updates it stopped building as
nicely. I don't remember where the failure was, but it was somewhere in
commencement.scm.
I am really glad to hear that it worked :)

I think a better question is can cmake-minimal depend on a new
curl-minimal, or does it even need curl at all?

I'd like to thank cbaines for their help with my vim patch. It's been
languishing in "needs more work" for about 3 months now. I wasn't able
to fix everything, but I feel confident enough to push something that
will work most of the time.

"regular powerpc", ie macppc/ppc32/powerpc-linux-gnu, does have some
bootstrap binaries built but isn't near ready for merging. Go ahead and
make any changes necessary.

I also got a transient test-suite error while building tuir, but it

The problem persists even when upgrading extra-cmake-modules and
kwidgetsaddons to 5.77.0.

No, it's still not fixed, but gobby-0.5.0 needed libinfinity anyway and it
was no longer building on master when I checked it before and after
upgrading gsasl.

Using this post as inspiration I replaced diffutils-mesboot with
gash-utils-boot. diffutils-mesboot provided cmp and diff, both of which
are available in gash-utils. Unfortunately sed from gash-utils-boot
didn't seem to work so I wasn't able to remove that.

My concern about that is that it basically swaps what we have now. Using
-frozen makes it a bit clearer that we're building it out.
