The solution did not work. But I tried on another machine and there was no
error. That means there is problem in my system as far the java
installation. I try to rectify it.

At the 4th gvSIG conference they provided a 1.9 version with a working
sextante on it, so I guess it will be possible to replicate that in
more recent builds but as far as there is no Mac version I haven't
tried. If I recall Victor's words correctly, this is only a binding
question.

Yes, I've first had some doubts about my DEM. But then I tested it on some
none OS software, and I got the correct results for my height classes...
Thus I am quite sure that my input data is correct and clean.
