Hi Simon,
I'm happy to see that you did it successfully! ;) Congrats for your
detailed explanation (...more than mine!). The

You've mentioned gvSIG OADE. I'm trying to download the code patches
from http://88.208.250.116/gvsig-oade-mods-1.0.0.tar.gz, but it
doesn't work for me...
After a few lines I read "We hav

Ok, it worked. The line should be changed to
ftp://88.208.250.116/gvsig-oade-mods-1.0.0.tar.gz, because it's not
obvious to try it...

Hi,
Any gvSIG plugin has a config.xml with this kind of logic inside. You
can tweak this config to remove or move menu entries and so on.
Cheers.

Hi Govanni,
Victor was referring to our current beta release, which
includes a recent version of SEXTANTE (an SVN snapshot
shortly before 0.5 was released):

Anyway, I suppose this refers to the 1.0.1 version. Is there an
updated repository with code changes?

Hi Robert.
This error you've posted previously occurred when trying to connect with
a different version of ArcSDE 9.1 on the server.
Therefore, make sure that the server that is connect 9.1 and also the

Yes these steps actually allow Sextante to work. I have not tested all
the routines but all seems OK.

Dear all,
after the proposal of Simon Cropper for creating rough drafts of
translations of the gvSIG documentation using, for example, Google
Translator, we've considered it to advance with the English translation.
Of course, some supervisors would check the translations to finish them.

Yes, I agree.
For example, the English translation is really important for Italian
translators.

Mario,
I would be happy to proof read the final documents. I will have no idea
if the text matches what is said by the original author in Spanish, but
I will be able to clarify if the English translation makes sense, has

I too would be happy to do some proof reading. My vote would be for the
British English because gvSIG has a lot of British users on the Mailing

Rory,
We should use colour, behaviour, kilometre, centimetre, etc.
But as my spell checker (in Thunderbird) is telling me I am misspelling
these words, and similar behaviour is common in standard setups for
OpenOffice and Word, I notice there is a general acceptance to allow the

I have been helping translate gvSIG documents into English and find that the
Google translator is very useful, although not perfect. I still have to refer
to the original Spanish to make sure that the original sense of the text has
been preserved.
As for the spelling, I have settled on using
