Thanks for the suggestion, I just got it, but still have the same issue.
In the meantime I have found something interesting:
The entries for my WMS layers in /sdcard/gvSIG/layers/layers.txt include the
following parameter:
"EPSG:4326"
Which is wrong since my WMS is built with EPSG = 3857 (Off

I know the WMS works because I can display it on a browser using the google

Dear list,
I really like the split-tool which is available in gvSIG's edit mode.
Using the scissors, it is possible to divide one polygon (or line) into
pieces. However, it does not always work for me. The problem seems to be
linked somehow to the bounding box of the selected geometry, but I

Dear list,
gvSIG has some problems with 2.5D-vectorial data (this kind of data can
contain z-values): some geoprocessing seems to work only with normal 2D
data. But are there other known problems? It would be good to know this.
Are there any plans to solve this? At the moment, the only possiblity
Dear list,
dear developers,
it is possible to change the possible RAM-usage of gvSIG by editing the
gvSIG.sh-file.
My question: is there a general rule, what value one should use depending
the size of the RAM in your machine? Limitations (from the java-side etc.)
What happens, if gvSIG needs mor
Dear list,
I have a question regarding gvSIG's editing tools: In my case, I would
like to cut off an overlapping area which is described by
two polygons A and B in one layer. I only found the tool "join", which
will do exactly the opposite from what I want to do. The dinosaur

Hi all,
As many of you already know, the final version of gvSIG 3D extension have
been released[1] few days ago. Now we are looking for case studies[2] in
order to see where and how gvSIG 3D is being used. This way we can promote
and expand gvSIG in different professional environments. The procedu
