Dear list, applying the "Union" algorithm from Sextante to one of our bigger shapefiles (ca. 300.000 polygons), the progress bar keeps constantly growing all the way to the right and suggests completion of the process, but then an error message pops up, saying "java.lang.StackOverflowError". There

No, there is a directory called sextante inside your home directory, and there you will find files like sextante.log, sextante_grass.log, etc. BTW, look to these files to see what happened. Also, if you are using GRASS and SAGA extensions, I don't know if these extensions are stable enough

At the 4th gvSIG conference they provided a 1.9 version with a working sextante on it, so I guess it will be possible to replicate that in more recent builds but as far as there is no Mac version I haven't tried. If I recall Victor's words correctly, this is only a binding question. On J
