number of yards of a blue/blue foliate jacquard that apparently ran afoul of
a forklift while still on the bolt... a big repeating tear, but very close

Sorry to be late getting back on this! I recently acquired the Hartley book,
and most of her reconstructed examples appear to be from theater/stage
designs, so be aware that the appearance may be close to some of the
manuscript illos, but the pattern/detail
Indeed- My SO said not to read him the good bits- he hasn't got thru
Goblet or OOPhoenix yet.
