Dark blue faille 1882 bustle dress (kick pleat skirt and cuirass bodice), with inset dark blue figured velvet panel down front of skirt and on front of bodice; cuffs and standup collar also figured velvet. White lace at wrist and top of collar. About a dozen dark blue "jewel and gold" buttons down the front. Very small black silk on buckram bonnet with faux jet and ribbon trim sitting on top, that goes with the black cotton velvet talma which has "jet" beading along the upper edge of the deep looped fringe. I wore it to an 1883 reunion of Civil War veterans.
