I knew how to knit as a kid, but at the time was not really interested in keeping the skill up, and it's not really a period technique for the Dark Ages costumes I'm interested in doing now. (That's why I've taken up nalbinding)....
Nalbinding... now that's something I have to try at some point... (as if I didn't have enough already :-)
