we are running into an issue with H2's behaviour around fixed length

The situation we have is that we are writing tests for an abstraction layer
on top of JD Edwards, which uses CHAR fields
Can't you use a free certificate from the EFF's "Let's Encrypt" project?

We are starting to see requests about 256 bit encryption for "at rest" data
storage. Are there plans to support 256 keys, or some sort of pluggable
encryption strategy?
