We've been at that discussion already, and I think we agreed that our
policy is that we don't have a policy. So it boils down to if people
are interested or not.
And then Ron said

There is a response bias to questions like "would you like to hear
a lecture on ...": people whose answer is yes are more likely to
respond than people whose answer is
that's not the issue for me .
i know little about kernel programing
but generally speaking , what's expected
from windows is to provide the information you want
to lecture about , within the operating
system installation and distribution.
and make it possible to the user to learn about it
and not

I say yes.
First, Linux is not alone in space, and ideas from one OS are taken to
others and vice-versa.
Second, you may think of it as "know the ." (Fill with one word or
more).

I say definitely yes. Whoever views the list of lectures will notice
that several of them are remotely Linux-related, but are still accepted
because of general interest.
And whatever we think about Windows, it has a kernel, and the software
is there. And I've heard that it's used on a computer
Folks,
Assuming, hypothetically, that a windows guy, working for MSFT, was
willing to come and give a talk to Haifux with regards to windows
kernel programming, would you be interested in hearing such a talk?
Let the ayes, nays and flames commence.
