from a usally very lazy Dx-er
I got the NORDX 2004 list of countries and competition rules from the web,
and got (sorta) turned on. Now at 1400UTC Oct16 2004 Sat I've 15 out of
30 countries recorded, taped and logs written. Two px's were for DX-ers :

Tried last night October
This morning Saturday October 16 three nice music stations noted around 0645 UTC.
First one being R NORD from Latvia on 945 kW with power of 2,7 kW. Signal at peaks
S7-9. Lots of fading. WMR from Denmark with strength of S9 +15 dB and this time no
complaints about reception. The third one is
China - CNR - 15498.7 at 1512 YL OM talk about zoo
and mentioning 'zongguo zheshen' which means 'voice of
china'. And at 1521 advs ID again. // with another
Mandarin prg which can't be ID what station is it.
SINPO 32333(Oct.9)
At 0734 Oct.10 - 15372 heard the same station CNR
'zongguo zheshen'
I have one.

Right now at 0242 UTC, Radio Rebelde is in at good level, mixing with WICC on 600 kHz
and playing Cuban salsa music, the first time this season. Maybe later, after
midnight, La Nueva Radio Ya, YNLD, out of Nicaragua will pop up on 600 too. I was
lucky enough to hear them
