The US government broadcaster Voice of America (VOA)
has decided to shut down its daily 90-minute
short-wave radio capsule in Hindi citing budgetary
cutbacks, and the emergence of TV and the Internet in
India as the leading media to disseminate news.

all the private spanish AM stations have a callsign
assigned (including those of the Basque autonomous
gov.) in the EAJ and EAK series. But these calls are
rarely heard on the air. Only in special events
