past 0330 in what sounds Urdu etc. Although I could not get clear id, it sounds like
the Hurriyat station from Pakistan which operates around 5101 kHz at 1330-1430 UTC.

off before 1700 (1630?).
The signals are very weak and sounds something like Burmese(?).

Recently one day I could monitor World Radio Network programs instead of IBC Tamil
on 7460 at 0005 due to their switching error. An interesting qsl has just been
received from World Radio Network, London by post for an email report to them which

China Radio International was heard with their regular English program today 17th Dec.
2003 on 1422 kHz Medium Wave at 1400 UTC from their new transmitter site. This is
probably their first day of regular broadcast on that frequency. 1422 kHz is a clear

last nignt (it was there whenever I checked at random in between my sleep) till fade

0005 UTC. At 0030 there was World Radio Network id and News Headlines followed by
English program of China Radio International. At around 0100 there was again News

SLBC Hindi Service noted today around 0215 UTC on 7343 kHz instead of 7300. At around
0250 they were back on 7302.5.
The English Service on 9770 meanwhile around that time is heard on lot of spurious

0020-0400 in Hindi to S.Asia with 10 kw or so.
At the same time VOA also from Sri Lanka uses the same frequency
in English to the same target area with 250 kw.
VOA of course dominates the frequency then.
