A month or two ago, there was a flurry of e-mails about AFN Short Wave having
new QSL cards printed and their plans to start verifying their SW
transmissions again. Does anyone know what the status on this is? Has anyone
seen any of these new QSL cards yet?

I just called and talked to the folks at the RVC offices in Miami. In
contrast to what it says in the 2006 PWBR, the person in Miami said they do
not deal with QSLs for the station in Chile. Although she seemed really
confused about the whole idea of QSL cards, she gave me the following address

Has anyone seen a QSL from these folks lately? My report to the address in
Chile came back from the P.O. as either box closed or addressee unknown (I
don't remember for sure), and I have not received a reply to the report I
sent to the Florida address.
