As usual, during the disturbed conditions the African stations dominated here in the 49 meterband. I made a quick check when noticing 6165 Chad booming in on Oct 8 at 1930 UT. 5985 R Congo in French 5990.5 R Ethiopia in local language 5995 Mali \\ 4782.9 and 4835 6055 R Rwanda 6060 Namibia in English 6165 Radiodiffusion Nationale Tchadienne, news in French with their usual partly distorted audio, real loud S9+10db. Also regular 60mb Africans were audible 4770 Nigeria 4782.9 Mali 4835 Mali 4845 Mauritania 4910 Zambia 4915 Ghana (with presumed Kenya underneath at 1850) 4940 VOA Sao Tome 4950 Angola 4965 Zambia 4976 Uganda was off but appeared later on 5025 Benin/Parakou 5030 Burkina Faso 5050 Tanzania
