** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98 RC USB, July 29 at 1756, LRA36 already on with
music for a regular Saturday broadcast, S6/S8 into Argentine SDR.
After another internet outage here, at 1809 talking about weather and
how cold Base Esperanza has been in midwinter, -25 and -35 C. Which
reminds me to turn on my AC: 98F outside, 82 inside, tolerable but
getting uncomfortable. 1813 to song, and live greetings with full ID,
`Uniendo Voces` with staff present named. On a windy afternoon, 25
kph, only -13 C. 1817 about other Base, Marambio, where there are
birthdays. 1826 LRA36 ID with reverb, music, then RAE multi-lingual
ID, back to chat, about two FM stations inside Argentina relaying
this. 1829 greeting listeners including Manuel Méndez in Spain.
Crediting Univ. Nac. de Quilmes for produxion. 1830 contact info,
whatsapp, email, website. Renovation of program, Estudio 9. 1845
interviewing a child. 1850 song. At 1905 it`s still -13. Next check at
2054, still going but weakening. Allegedly also scheduled now before
18 on Fridays, unchecked here July 28 nor any reports of it (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 11760, July 29 at 0704, RHC extension still on, in Spanish,
S9/+10 and somewhat undermodulated. Also unusually with dirty
parasitic spurs plus/minus 3 kHz. Something`s always wrong at RHC
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** GUAM. 11590, July 29 at 1457, unID language, fair signal and off.
This one really was KTWR in Kazakh at 1445-1500 per EiBi, as I tuned
on to 11880, see SWAZILAND (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6869.912 AM, July 29 at 0639, much better signal
than before from pirate presumed Late Night Lunatix, S9+10/20 direct
in a song. Many more logs now in HFUnderground, this date:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,116418.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6964.00, July 29 at 0645, JBA carrier seems silent,
probably a pirate. At HFU many logs around this frequency going back
years, but nothing tonight (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 1600 kHz, Saturday July 29 at 1506 UT, KUSH Cushing, not
with ``Americana`` main music format, but story about bison, 1607
outro National Native News! and ID as Native Voice One, the native
American radio network, right into drumming & chanting past 1515. What
could be more ``Americana`` than this? NNN had a CPB funding credit,
as mostly on public radio. Kudos to private/commercial KUSH for
devoting at least an hour a week to this.

https://www.1600kush.com/
leads to listen link:
http://crystalout.surfernetwork.com:8001/KUSH_MP3
which I switch to as more convenient and hifi than off-air direct
1600.
Website has everything except a plain old program sked, but see this:
https://www.1600kush.com/onair/native-air-with-hugh-foley

1524 another ID and more drumchant: lots of tribes do that so I can`t
guess which one now. 1533 National Native News again, in English; 1546
solo singing amid internet outages provided by subOptimum. By 1555
more Native News, about Guatemala. More outage until 1609 check now
with gospel huxter (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 90.1, KUCO: I had been catching up on episodes of `A Day
to Remember` via ``samples`` on the PRX website, but that halted in
June, so I asked KUCO about it. As a result they are now available via
own website:
https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/a-day-to-remember/id1699463301
as of Sat July 29 apparently only the past 5 weekday 2-minute episodes
(Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** SWAZILAND. 11880, July 29 at 1458, TWR music box IS, S3/S7, ID may
have mentioned pending language. Thought it would be KTWR, but no, per
EiBi it`s Manzini in Somali, and via longpath across Indian & Pacific
Oceans. See also GUAM (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) See GUAM

** U S A. 8992 USB, July 29 at 0646-0649* lengthy alfanumeric cryptic
US military message, training? with self-imposed whine, concluding ID:
``Assembly`` always a new word, never repeating? (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2201 monitoring: confirmed what is

webcast.

Also confirmed, Saturday July 29 at 1935 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, about
14 minutes into so started early circa 1921; so much storm noise from
north central MO that I could barely hear me, referring to Singapore
as a marker. Earlier at 1931 I thought it wasn`t me: of course, Vern
has to interrupt every dekaminute with his own ID. Next:

** U S A. Re 9955, WRMI, Friday July 28 at 2323, what I heard was not
Backwoods Radio, so never mind that link, but Backroads Radio as Mike
M advises at 0113 UT July 29: ``[WOR] Backroads Radio on WRMI Repeats
Same Two Songs --- Just listened to WRMI 9455 kHz at 0100 UT Saturday.
It is Backroads Radio. It repeats the same two songs over and over.
Not sure what is up with that.`` --- Backroads Radio is on the WRMI
skeds a few various times, but *not* when I heard it; nothing on the
Programming page (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 11487 USB, July 29 at 0707, VP 2-way in English
including a YL voice, rather informal, including some tones at
cambios. Heard before on same frequency: Russian numbers station in
2018y per Observer, Bulgaria, and various other reports. I recall
hearing 2-way English before but can`t find it; maybe slightly
different frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
