minute or two. At 1023 sounded like canned promos. This was followed with
ordinary music that's usually presented on this station. The male announcer
back at 1029 with ID and comments. At 1030 different male gives a dis
Indonesia, 6067.11, RRI Jayapura, Tentative, 0930-1013* Noted a carrier here
during the above period. Could not suck any audio out of it due to condx and
QRM nearby, but it was steady until 1013 when it dropped off the air. The
carrier never returned. I was hoping to listen a while longer since

morning, and this was about the best I was able to

Qu'ran being sung by a woman(?) until 1102. Then a man sings the Qu'ran
until 1108. At that time, a canned ID by a man, which I wasn't recording at
the time. This followed by pop music and Indonesian comments from a woman.

Fairly mediocre reception on the tropicals this morning, but a few were
worth noting:
INDONESIA 4874.6, 1127-1140, RRI Sorong Apr. 10 with a mix of US R&B pop
music and female announcer in Indonesian. Mentions of Sorong, Medan, and
Jakarta at various times. Good level. (Atkins-WA)
