Yes, also I noticed these RHC fq changes yesterday April 29 night
at around 23.45 UT.
Cuban transmissions n o t as strong as usual in the northern hemisphere,
in Alberta / nor NJ state,

but signals better readable in KiwiNet at TWR Bonaire, Recife, Sao Paulo
Brazil and Brisbane Queensland southerly hemisphere.

But when checked missed also the CRI Quivican 5990 / 11980 kHz relay
in 23-24 UT, something was in preparation or sudden first use and some
breaks by technicians yesterday night.

13650even JAP R Japan NHK Tokyo via Ibaragi Yamata in Thai language
on April 29 at 23.03 UT, S=8 signal in Edmonton Alb-CAN.

13388 to 13555 kHz broadband CODAR signal S=5 in Alb, 23.05 UT.

13640even CHN CRI Jinhua in Japanese language, S=8 at 23.08 UT.

13759.983 KRE Voice of Korea KCBS Korean program from Kujang site,
S=8-9 at 23.17 UT.

13840.009 NZL R NZi Rangitaiki bcast center, in English sce
at 23.15 UT, S=9+20dB power noted at Edmonton-Alb-CAN.

adjacent also WWCR USA 13845 kHz,
annoying both fqs TOO CLOSE TOGETHER, the frequency selection
by Adrian Sainsbury could be different - in an rather EMPTY 22 meterband.

13845.005 USA WWCR Nashville TN, ID at 23.12 UT, S=8-9 in Alberta-CAN.

More CODAR swish-swish pulsing sound
on 13920 to 13973 kHz at 23.20 UT April 29.

CUBA. 13740, April 29 at 1334, RHC back on here instead of 13780:
they can't decide which one to keep. // 13700 as usual, and it's the
one also producing extremely distorted spurblobs circa 13637 and
13763. This time no readable program audio on them in SSB, AM or FM
reception modes. 1424 check, 13700 still on, spurs off and 13740 off.
Something's always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

CUBA. 15730, April 30 at 0013, RHC on and propagating, but
suptorted with cutouts, French not // 5040 Kriyol. Something's always
wrong at RHC.

15230, April 30 at 0013, RHC in Spanish! This frequency has been
running only in the mornings, 13-15 per Eibi, 11-15 per Aoki/NDXC.
This is only the start of various new frequencies/times now heard:

11800, April 30 at 0016, new RHC in Spanish // 11760, and //
ripple/distorted 11670 as if two carriers? but 11700 and 11850 are
both OFF. So the 11850 parasites on 11840 & 11860 also off. Which one
does 11800 replace, or both? 11800 better not be on before 0000 as the
others were, due to Romania in Spanish! Something's always wrong at
RHC. The 11980 harmonic of 5990 CRI in Spanish also audible now.

9340, April 30 at 0021, RHC on brand new frequency in Spanish, but
missing from 9535 & 9640 the normal 31mb tarde channels; replaces
both, or error, or?

Another change reported by wolfie the morning of April 29 was 7350
instead of 7340. Remains to be heard if all these changes stick, and
what more there may be; Arnie just getting around to post-seasonal
juggling?
Or maybe to celebrate May 1: "patria o suerte, ?pensaremos!"
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

CUBA. 4765, April 30 at 0037, Radio Progreso is S9+10/20 of dead
air until cut off at 0043.5*, back on *0051.8-0052.3* still with no
modulation. Lite CODAR swishing QRM only on the LSB side. Something`s
always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Dear CEO,

We are the domain name registration service company in China. On 2020-04-30, we
received an application from Hongbo Ltd requested "hard-core-dx" as their
internet keyword and China (CN) domain names (hard-core-dx.cn,
hard-core-dx.com.cn, hard-core-dx.net.cn, hard-core-dx.org.cn). But after
checking it, we find this name conflict with your company name or trademark. In
order to deal with this matter better, it's necessary to send email to you and
confirm whether this company is your distributor or business partner in China?

Best Regards

Thanks for this Paul, this is great news.

Now, I just have to battle with KRVN and hope the morse code and
sweep tones break through, but I will give it a try.

"KJJR 880 DX Test" in the email (You MUST put that in that subject
line so I don't accidentally delete it thinking its spam!). The reply
will likely be a simple email reply with details of the station and
confirming the details of what/when you heard it. You WILL get a reply
from me in due course, please give me some time!
This is done on short notice and being kept simple as to not burden
anyone involved. Thanks to Les Rayburn for creating the test material
and Todd Clark for generously offering up the station. I've already
seen communication between him and the station, asking them to block
out an hour from the logs, so he can tinker around with things at the
tower site.
I know, I know.. we've had a few false starts on DX tests, but I can
only do what I can do.
Any questions? Email me and I'll be glad to answer. Pass this word to
other DX email groups, facebook groups, websites, etc

** CHINA. 9360, S6-S8 and 9970, S6-S7, April 30 at 1753 past 1800
without ID or any break, past 1818, both Firedragon jamming against
nothing else audible but listed RFA in Mandarin via Kuwait and Saipan
respectively. Rather surprised to be getting this around noon here. No
sign of any others above or below this band (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD
OF RADIO 2032)

** CUBA [and non]. 7350, April 30 at 1309, RHC Spanish is S4-S6 and
undermodulated, ex-7340. Evidently moved because of someAsian on 7340;
seems like Chinese, but Aoki shows the only at this hour is National
Unity Radio, clandestine toward North Korea from Tajikistan site; as
long as AIR Mumbai be inactive. 9535 RHC is also on at 1314 check
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2032)

** CUBA. 13740 // 13700, April 30 at 1315, RHC on these two today but
no spurblobs; rather very weak leapfrogs on 13660 & 13780. Something`s
always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 11790 & 11810, May 1 at 0019, RHC JBA parasitic carriers to
new 11800, so that proves they are the ex-11850 transmitter, ex-11840
always with the plus/minus 10 kHz sputnix. Something continues wrong
at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 9340, May 1 at 0020, RHC is gone again after appearing on
this new frequency yesterday. Now 9535 and 9640 are still on.
Something`s always wrong at RHC.

11700 and 13740, onetime/sometime RHC frequencies are also off, May 1
at 0021. Wolfgang Bueschel notes new 15230 carries some Portuguese, so
that makes it ex-11700.

So a full survey of active Cuban SW frequencies, including CRI relays,
circa 0025 May 1, finds: 15730, 15230, 15120, 11760, 11670, 9640,
9535, 6145, 6060, 6000, 5990, 5040, 5025 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 4765, May 1 at *0030 sharp, carrier on from Radio Progreso,
but like last night, another fiasco, no modulation and keeps cutting
off and on after nominal sign-on time: 0033* off, *0036:35 back on and
off, *0040:35 on and off again; 0050 still off, so enough of that, but
by 0155 recheck it`s staying on with musical modulation. Something`s
always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** HONG KONG [non]. 9400, April 30 at 1313, heavy collision, at least
one in Chinese, fast SAH, another in classical music, and maybe a
third station. I figured it must be SOH or Taiwan or RFA piled upon by
ChiCom jammers, but Aoki and EiBi show the only station is Radio
Liangyou 1, via FEBC Iba site, PHILIPPINES at 1030-1400. It doesn`t
rate an entry in WRTH, just another Chinese broadcast of FEBC. But
originating in Hong Kong, does it have a political agenda beyond mere
evangelism, to merit jamming? The only other 9400 partially listed at
this hour is Brother Hystairical via Bulgaria (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** KOREA SOUTH. 9095, April 18 at 1818, Korean at S7-S9, i.e. this
week`s jumparound frequency of Echo of Hope, clandestine for the
north. I often detect a carrier at many times on 9095, 9100 or 9105,
but rarely this good. 9 MHz must be in a sweet spot for reception from

air at this hour, but Aoki does (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
