Hi,
I'm working on some reports and one print
option is to a 132 column device. I don't have access to a 132 device and
was thinking maybe there is a way to tell my screen it has 132 characters per
line?

Is it not possible that patients might be at risk and even die from a
delay in the administration of oral and/or IV medications that were
properly ordered by physicians? It appears suspicious to me that the
mortality went up after the implementation of a new CPOE system...

I've
had luck using ^%ZEDT, it comes up with a splat (*) but just enter a "C" and it
slips into the full screen editor. From there it behaves like
^%EDT.

Here's a good reference site for MUMPS: http://jacquardsystems.com/Examples/ but
its not a how to. If you can program, this site might be enough to get you
going. The nice thing about MUMPS is if you can get to a MUMPS prompt
">", you can try the commands on the fly.

Just keep in mind the new HLO process that is coming out (HL*1.6*126)
requires port 5001 for live accounts and 5026 for test accounts; and
don't forget port 5000 is for HL7.

When your URL is too long, like that. You can use TinyURL to shorten it. Here
is the link: http://tinyurl.com/ - just paste in your long link, hit enter, and
whalla!! - a new shortened link that takes you to the same page as the long URL.
I've used it on the URL in question and got this link:

Each file may look unique at first but if you look closer, there
is an underlying format that is common to all files in Fileman. This is
what makes Fileman work. The information stored in key positions describes
that file. Fileman will always create files in this format and
open-source stack of VistA/MUMPS/Linux, and in that respect, at
least, this group can be immeasurably helpful.

I don't think the use of M is a
separate issue at all. If you'll note in the committee's own words, "The
committee pointed to the failure of a $372 million financial management project
called CoreFLS in Bay Pines, Fla., as an example of the VA’s technology
problems."

Any hints of who has it in the system status display?

Hi,
Right now our dispensing
technologies use a class III interface to VistA. I've recently joined a
project (WDDE) that includes writing a new bidirectional HL7 class I interface
to replace the class III interfaces. Estimated release to EVS is
11/05.
