I wouldn't redcommend modifying the DD unless you are sure you *always*
want Fileman to behave this way. If you want to an option to perform
lookup by abbreviation only, I'd make tthe necessary change in code
rather than in the DD.

The node George references should prbably appear as George indicates. The
manner in which you define the screening logic (node's argument) should
probably be made through fileman option 4 (modify file attributes).
