Yes and no. There are quite a few drivers available now. Everything I
have, except for a Canon printer, is now supported just fine. If you look
hard enough and check out the x64 websites you can usually find a driver.

WinXP 64 should not be used as sole version of windows unless you just run
office and a few other apps. Many scanners, modems, etc are not yet
supported. So for a power user, it is not mature enough to be a sole source

I am setting up my new machine with an Athlon 64 3000+ today and just
realized I have only the normal copy of winxp. Do I need the 64bit
copy to really take advantage of it or right now is it not really
worth it?
