I think the card is defective but never
returned it because I got it to run stably by reducing the AGP bus speed
from 66 to 50 MHz. It's in an Asus NF2/Athlon XP box right now and when
it's doing well I don't have to reboot for weeks. Have you tried running
your card under 66 MHz?

Interesting. I've had excellent luck with Corsair's XMS line. Running latest
BIOS? NF2/NF3/NF4? Will it run >SPD in single channel mode?
If NF4/A64, what chip? Pre-Venice/SanDiego/Toledo/Manchester (E rev) chips
were much more picky...

usually all it takes ( chip is a remarked 2800 )

I just swapped out a Xircom 16 bit PMCIA NIC with a SMC 32 bit Cardbus on
my latitude CP which has cardbus support. Everything went as expected. The
new NIC is installed, everything looks just like it is suppose to, both the
NIC and the switch LED light up, but it doesn't work. I can't even
