946x officially support core2, not 945 according to intel at least.
The only chipset that officially supports DDR2-800 ram is the x965 chipsets.
The flagship 975 does not.
However, no chipset out yet supports DDR2-800 and SLI/crossfire. Ironically
AMD's ATI will be releasing the RD600 chipset
965 and 975 are basically the 2 of choice and there is hardly anything
between the two.
